I have a 65TCL TV and every time we try and watch a game I have to do a network reset. I've updated the app, deleted and reinstalled the app, then checked for updates on newly installed app with no luck. The funny thing is that we have other TV's with streaming sticks with no issues whatsover. All I have to do is just turn the TV on, click on the app, then click Watch Game and BAM!, we have baseball.
I gues my question is this; do I need to plug in a streaming stick to watch baseball error free? Any ideas out there?
Hi @prandrews1,
Thanks for the post.
What happens when you try to access the channel? Are you receiving error messages or codes? Does the issue only occur on the MLB channel or all channels on your Roku device? Did you restart your Roku device before re-installing the channel? If you haven't tried the suggested order (remove > restart > re-install), we would recommend giving it a shot once again. We also suggest doing the restart from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step) > System restart.

When I click on the app it opens but when I click Watch Game within a few seconds I get "Network Error Try Again" and when I try again I get the same error message. To clear it, I do a Network Reset and it fixes the problem until I close the app and come right back to it or close the app and come back the next day to try to watch the game.
Bascially any time the app is closed the only way to open it without a network error when trying to watch a game is to do a network reset.
As @RokuNimfa-C indicated, when reinstalling a channel app, the correct method to do this is:
When completed you should at least have a clean copy of the app's current release in place.
If the problem persists at this point, it typically means the current version of the channel app has a problem that must be addressed by the channel itself as they are the ones that create the Roku-compatible version of their app and provide it to Roku.
