Unfortunately this is a common complaint with the FoxNews apps - they are poorly coded.

I'm having the same issue, and contacting Fox News (the channel provider) as suggested has not resolved the issue. The Fox News app has been having this authentication issue for a year now and it appears there is no interest in fixing it. Roku should remove this permanently broken app from the Roku Channel Store until Fox News fixes it. As long as Roku keeps the broken Fox News app listed in the Roku Channel Store, which is done to draw in more Roku users, they are perpetuating the problem and should take some responsibility here.
What is your content provider against which you are authenticating Fox News?
