Re: Vimeo App Not Working

Jump to solution

When I try to login on the Roku Vimeo app I receive a code and a url, https://vimeo.com/activate

After entering the code it says. "something went wrong. Please contact the developer.

I see some threads saying that Vimeo no longer supports Roku.

@TazmanRocks

Thanks for the post.

For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact Vimeo support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

You can reach Vimeo support here: https://vimeo.com/help/contact

Thanks,

Re: Is Vimeo supported on Roku streaming devices?

Jump to solution

Despite Roku being one of the three supported platforms listed on Vimeo's Supported TV app platforms - contradicting the message in this thread's solution - after being advised by Vimeo Support that their engineers were working on fixing the missing thumbnail problem, today I was advised that

I have checked this with our engineering team, and unfortunately, they updated me Vimeo no longer supports the Roku app, which is why the thumbnails are appearing as color bars on your side.

While the app's features have always been basic, despite the years-old thumbnail problem, it continues to work for me.
