Hi, I am currently interested in purchasing the Roku Ultra but i understand it has some issues playing Disney Plus previously in Singapore. Has this issue been solved?

Please be advised that channel availability/access on Roku devices will vary from region to region. A Roku device will work in any location, however, channels may not be available on your device in that location, based on each channel provider's discretion.
For more information, you'd want to contact any specific channel/service provider to inquire further about whether they offer their channel/service on the Roku platform in your region.
All the best,
Kariza

No! Only Netflix and AppleTV+ are the well-know paid subscription streaming platforms available on Roku in Singapore region.
And be aware that if you contact Disney and ask if it's available there, they likely won't have any idea and simply say yes because it's available in general in that location. Now I don't know for certain if Disney Plus is available in Singapore, and if it isn't they should be honest and say no if you contact them. But many customer service reps have no idea that their product might be available but not on a specific platform. It's unfortunate, but true.
