Is BritBox available on Roku? If not, is there any likelihood that it will be added?

It appears to already be there.

I am posting from the US.  If you are in a different location, you may have different results as each channel sets it availability depending on where it has content licenses.

Also, Roku channels are provided by the content creators, so if you don't see something on Roku, it's much more direct to ask them about it.

We currently don't have any information on when or if BritBox will be available in the UK, but you can always visit our blog for the latest news and upcoming updates. Channels are published and maintained by the channel developer, so might want to try reaching out to BritBox to let them know you want their streams on Roku UK.

From Where is Britbox available? page:

BritBox is currently available in Australia, Canada, USA and UK.

If you subscribe in the US, Canada or Australia, your subscription can be used in either region. Show availability may differ in each region. Example: if you signed up in the US and travel to Canada, you'll be able to use your subscription while traveling.

BritBox.co.uk is currently available in the UK only. UK Subscriptions can't be used in the US, Canada or Australia and vice versa.

The other half of the equation is that, in order to view Britbox in those countries via Roku there must be versions of the Britbox Roku app available that are coded for those countries.

The channels themselves create Roku compatible versions of their channel apps and provide them to Roku.  I know Britbox has provided an app version coded to work on Rokus in the US but I've been unable to find definitive info on whether Britbox has supplied Roku with versions for those other countries.

Britbox appears to be listed as an add-on channel for Prime Video on my Roku so there is a finally a roundabout way to watch it on Roku in the UK.
