Channels & viewing

There are advertisements whose images are inappropriate for my young son to see when we are trying to get to netflix or disney.  How can we either stop the ads all together or ensure that ads displayed are child age appropriate.

Roku does not have features to make the device "child friendly" in many ways. Company has chosen to not implement such protection.

Only things that might make it a little better:

1/ set up pin on "add channel" function (via online account, not device)

2/ ensure that the basic default wallpaper/screensaver is configured with seasonal option off (on each Roku device/TV).
