I just purchased the new Roku Ultra. I currently use the prior top end model. Will I have to go through adding all of the emails and passwords for each channel again, or is that process automatic. I'm trying to understand so I know how much time I will have to dedicate to adding the new Roku to my system. Thank you,.
The new Roku should automatically load all the channel apps you now have, as they are tied to your account, not the specific unit.
The login for your channels that require it IS tied to each individual unit and must be authorized for each Roku unit. If not using the Roku app on a mobile device, I'd suggest you get that running once you get your new Roku working on your network and before you start authenticating a bunch of channels. It's much easier to do all that typing on your phone using the app than it is on the Roku onscreen keyboard.

That's is real bummer having to remember and reenter all the streaming services passwords. I'll never get it right again. Should have stayed w my old roku express but they offered my a newer model for cheap.i fell for it!!!
Search online for a secure password manager similar to Bitwarden. These password managers store all your passwords for you and can also generate secure passwords for you to use. You basically then only use and have to remember one "master password".
I prefer Bitwarden, but make sure you do some research on the one you choose to make sure the manager is secure, encrypted, and protected. (normally best practice to avoid using the default password managers that come with your web browsers).
