Did you buy the device from Roku? Did you buy the device from an authorized retailer? Or did you buy the device from a third party who went outside Roku's sales and marketing agreements? If the latter, you did the online equivalent of buying something out of the trunk of a car.
Perhaps they misrepresented themselves, and you trusted they were authorized sellers of Roku. If that' sthe case, and you used a reputable channel such a Amazon (who has third party sellers that have sold Roku outside official channels) they should be able to help with that.
Of course, if you did buy from Roku directly, then yes, they should not have sold to you if you had them ship to an unsupported region. So, any details you're willing to share?
