This is clearly a ROKU issue. Why have people sign up for service and then not be able to keep the app up to date. I just went down this rabbit hole as the paramount+ app just stopped live stream for me. It has been fine up until now. Seems like an update is needed for Roku.
Yes, its a huge Roku UI/UX design flaw such that the #1 troubleshooting step that Roku requires/recommends for problematic apps cant be utilized when you subscribe to many services using Roku Pay.
Pretty dumb/huge oversight, and yet it persists.
Its one of the reasons (there are other reasons not to use third-party subscription) I/others recommend NOT using Roku Pay-based subscriptions, and instead subscribe directly to the service.
Regardless, Roku has bizarrely shown no interest in fixing/addressing this flawed process - instead they just insist you have to unsubscribe/reinstall/re-subscribe through Roku Pay again (as absurd as that is).
Best to unsubscribe, reinstall and re-subscribe directly from the service.
The only issue with this is if you were grandfathered in with the previous plan/s with CBS All Access, you will then lose your plan and have to sign back up with the plans Paramount+ now offers. Sad for everyone who has to do that. But like recommended no longer subscribe to pay through Roku pay.
I have had this same issue. I can't believe I have wasted so much time going back and forth with Paramount and Roku. I am giving up at this point. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with the customer service through either of these companies!

As stated previously, for more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact Paramount+ support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
