Hulu and Netflix will not run because it could not be reinstalled from the network. Other channels will load but not Hulu or Netflix

That is the exact message I’m getting word for word. Nothing else.

The error message typically points to the channel information stored on your device that needs to be refreshed.

If you haven't tried yet, we recommend removing the Hulu and Netflix channel then re-install them. Make sure to restart your Roku device before adding the channels back in to ensure the process is successful. Feel free to follow the instructions below:

1. Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press the Star button to open the options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
2. Restart your Roku device: If it is inconvenient to reach the power cord to unplug your Roku device, you can restart the device from the settings menu. Go to Settings > System > System restart > Restart.
3. Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store and add the channel again.

Please let us know if there's any difference after.

I tried all of the "fixes", also. Still the same message. Hulu and Netflix will not run because it could not be reinstalled from the network.

It's got to be on Hulu's end.

Thanks for the post.

Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developer themselves. Since after attempting the suggestions above, you are still unable to play videos from Hulu and Netflix while other channels play fine, contact the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help. There's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from the channel developer.

Try restarting the roku stick or what ever you have.

I had the same issue.  After doing some internet sleuthing, it appears it may be an issue related to storage space.  I removed a few streaming channels I don't use and was able to get Hulu to "reinstall".

I have the same problem except that it is not just Netflix and Hulu. No channels will run. All produce the same error. I removed several unused channels and restarted. Clicking on any channel still produces the "could not be reinstalled from the network.

One had the same issue with all channels, since yesterday. I've tried everything recommended except factory reset, which I suspect is not going to work either. 

I have searched the keywords and have not found any solutions that work
