i have paramount plus and want to watch it on my TV (ROKU sound bar) but when I go to the main screen, it is not one of the options to select - How to I get it to appear so I can watch it on my TV vs. laptop?

Thanks for the post.

You can download Paramount Plus to your Roku Soundbar for the channel to show up on your main screen. To do this, you can follow the steps below to add it from your Roku device:

1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
2. Scroll up or down and select Streaming Channels to open the Channel Store.
3. Enter a keyword in Search Channels to find choices based on the title of a channel.
4. When you want to learn more about a channel, press the OK button on your remote to open the details. In addition to a synopsis and rating, you can preview screenshots of the channel.
5. If the channel is “free” then you can select Add Channel to install the channel on your Roku device.
6. If the channel is “paid”, then you can select Buy $X.XX in order to purchase and install the channel.
7. If you have a Roku account PIN, then you will be required to enter it. If you do not have a PIN and wish to protect against unauthorized purchases, learn how to create a PIN for your Roku account.
8. If your payment information is out-of-date, it will need to be updated in your Roku account.

It's a Roku. If you want to watch an app, you should add the app to your Roku account. When you do, it will show up on your Roku device.

Do you see the Roku main menu when you turn the TV input to the HDMI to which the Roku is connected?

If you do see the Roku main menu, did you look at all the items on the menu? It scrolls all the way around, so what you see on the screen may not be everything until you scroll up or down.

If you haven't added Paramount+ to your Roku account, you should go to the Streaming Channels selection on the menu and look for it there. You can do a text search, or browse; I find it under Movies & TV, Recommended, New & Updated, and in other places. You should see it there too, if you're in the U.S.
