I am having the same issues. Then my ROKU freezes. I have to turn off the TV and restart. Not happy.
As I stated earlier I've had the momentary freeze regularly with discovery+ and then last night the app frozen the entire TV, mines a TLC series 6, 55". Had to do the same thing- unplug and reboot

Did you guys open a ticket with Discovery using the link provided earlier?
Yes I did. Emailed back and forth couple of times and initially they were trying to get me to do a whole bunch of stuff I had already done. Told them done it, didn’t work in lengthy email. Then today I get an email asking me to respond and if they don’t hear back they will close out ticket. I responded with previous email and basically said if they close ticket before fixed, close my account with the ticket. Lol. Like one person threat matters. We are definitely slaves to the machine.

Roku TV/Stick
Log out of the discovery+ app on your Roku.
Uninstall the discovery+ app from your Roku.
Clear cache through your Roku.
a. Make sure “Home” is selected from the main menu.
b. From the remote control, press the following buttons
consecutively:
"Home” 5 times + “Up” + “Rewind” twice + “Fast Forward” twice.
c. It will take about 15-30 seconds to clear cache and restart.
Install the discovery+ app.
Launch the discovery+ app and sign in with your email and password.
If the issue persists, please reply back to this email.
Same thing is happening to me. If anyone finds a solution please let us know.
Did the deleting and clearing the cache work for you because it didn't work for me.
Ours keeps skipping back in the show. Does anyone have this issue? We get to the half way point in a show and it skips back about 20 minutes after a commercial.
Same. App keeps pausing and skips about a second or 2 so frustrating
