We have 4 roku boxes and they all show on my account. Our son took one to his house. He can get Starz, but not HBO Max (which we subscribe to through Roku) Is there a limit of 3 TVS that can receive HBO MAX when subscribed through Roku? Or is it 3 TVS ACTUALLY watching HBO MAX at one time?
Thanks
HBO MAX simultaneous streams
"HBO Max can be streamed on up to three different devices simultaneously, so you can share an account with friends and family members. The service also allows for multiple user profiles to be created, with options for parentally controlled “Kid” profiles on which parents can set content ratings limits."

If you subscribe through Roku, you can probably only view through Rokus linked to the same Roku account, as your subscription is with Roku, not directly with HBO.
We have 4 roku boxes, ALL ON THE SAME ACCOUNT. On of those boxes, an "EXPRESS" will not let us log in to HBO Max. The other 3 will. HELP!!!
Hi @Benster,
Thanks for the post.
For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
You can reach HBO Max support here: https://help.hbomax.com/
Thanks,
Mary
As far as I can tell, the HBO Max support that you referred me to requires you to have an account with either HBO Max directly, or with a TV subscription, neither of which I have. I see nowhere to sign in with my Roku account. Please HELP!!!
Which coincidently, is the SAMe problem we are having with one of our Roku boxes. It wants us to sign in through a TV provider, which we don't have, because we cut the cord!
