HBO Max crashes back to Roku home; new twist is that HBO says they don't see an account!

  1. TCL Roku TV 55S535
  2. Subscribed to 30 day trial for HBO Max as part of setup
  3. Open HBO Max on TV, see logo, see bouncing dots, then crashes back to homescreen
  4. Unsubscribed, uninstalled, reinstalled multiple times
  5. Tweeted to HBO support, they "don't see an account" for this Roku-billed subscription!!
  6. Both Roku and HBO support seem to have given up

Not sure if the 10.5 update is impacting well beyond just older devices?
