I have frequently gotten the 'unexpected errors' page when trying to access either Foxnews or FoxBusiness in the past. Tonight, it has happened every time I've tried to access either one of them. Anyone know how to fix this? I'll go to firestick if I can't. Thanks.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the posts.
Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.
If the issue remains unresolved, I'd recommend reaching out to Fox News directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on the Fox News channel (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your patience regarding the Fox News audio issue.
We believe that the channel provider has resolved the issue. Please try removing the channel, restarting your device, then adding the channel back again to see if you are still experiencing the issue.
Thanks,
Dammy
I'm not experiencing this at all.
You can try removing Fox News
Do Settings/System/System restart.
and reinstalling Fox news.
If you paid for Fox news you should contact them directly.
Does it give you error codes or numbers?
Good suggestion, but didn't fix the problem. Gave up on both Fox news apps and subscribed to One America News. Thanks for the suggestions.
take it as a blessing and be thankful
I've done all of this. It is definitely a roku problem, and not a foxnews problem. I take great offense that Roku is just hating on Foxnews [post edited]. No one should be able to take away the choices you have duly paid for.
A couple of weeks ago, Fox News channel started acting poorly. It constantly freezes up and at other times is extremely slow. Everything else with my TV works great, so I am assuming Roku has the problem on their end. It's been 2 weeks and it's still not fixed. Please advise if it will ever be fixed, so I can make plans to switch to a better working platform.
Thanks for the post.

Does this clear up the issue you are seeing? Please keep us posted.

I'm afraid that removing and reinstalling the Fox News channel does no good. Even after resetting the TV and trying it in various orders.
Another problem is that you only have a certain amount of time to choose a segment that you want to see. If you take too long, it takes you back to the video you were previously watching.
I'm afraid it's messed up beyond repair. The news channels on Pluto are very reliable, and I have started using Pluto TV, instead of the Fox News channel.
Thanks for the update.

I am having a very similar problem with Fox News and Fox Business. I have a Roku Ultra, direct connected. Internet is not the problem. When I try to tune to either FNC or FBN, I am immediately given an error that I need to connect to the Internet. I have a Firestick on another tv in an adjacent room and can switch to either channel at any time with zero issues. These two channels are the only two channels that give me this error. If I continue going back to the menu and trying either channel, eventually, on about the 5th or 6th try the channels will finally work. However.... the rewind buffer does not work. For instance, if you join either channel and pause the live tv for any period of time, then try to rewind back into that buffer, you are simply given the spinning wheel of death and it never recovers. The only way to even get either channel working again is to change to a different channel, and then back into either FNC or FBN again. When getting the spinning wheel of death I cannot even navigate to the YTTV profile so i can submit an error report.
