The first thing I did was contact the channel provider but I know the cause was the ROKU upgrade so not the channel provider and I don't accept this as a solution from ROKU.
I have 7 roku boxes just for the sole purpose of running film on.Now spent 2 days looking for a solution?
It hasn't worked since the update Roku did and they are blaming Filmon, saying the channel isn't available anymore, not the case at all.
On you tube some guy is saying it has gone to FOTV with picture of the app but this app is nowhere to be found?
My issue only started 3 days ago obviously kicked in as and when the units must have updated.
appears no one has a clue this was posted apparently about 5 years ago.
I have five roku devices in my house and Filmon id the only channel that lets me watch live UK tv. I have contacted Filmon and tried to convey the urgency of fixing this. They do not seem to understand that they will lose my subscriptions at $100 each. I suggest that this community put pressure on them as well
Good for you! I started this thread and the first thing I did was to contact Filmon so they are aware of the issue, whether they can do anything about it is another story. Roku and Filmon need to work together with this.
Well, it looks like Roku is not able or willing to resolve the issue. I work as a product specialist / trainer for a leading home automation brand and have monthly training sessions were I train new custom installers on our products. For years i have been promoting Roku as a good streaming option for their installations. Many of our integrators have followed that advice and have been using Roku for their streaming needs in conjunction with our products. Since Roku seems to have no intention to resolve this issue i have now started to promote the Nvidia shield as the go-to device. It works and that is all i care about. No more Roku for me or my customers i’m affraid!
What is Nvidia and does it work with Filmon?
My Roku updated last night and FilmOn not available today. Feedback from FilmOn was that they are working on a solution from their side. In the meantime I stream from my iPad using Air Play - not ideal but better than nothing.
