Anything happening on this very annoying problem? We think it might have something to do with a software update in early December. Have you checked that?

The team is currently investigating this. They're still looking into all possible causes of the issue. While waiting for a resolution, we would recommend staying tuned for any progress.

Another week has gone by, Emmanuel, and still no fix. In fact twice I have pushed FF and have been taken to the very end. Please help us!

I've forwarded an update to the investigating team about this, and still haven't heard from them. However, this has been actively reviewed, and a fix will be implemented soon.

We'll circle back if we have more info!

Hey everyone!

Status update 5/1: You should be receiving the latest software update by now, and to check on that, please follow the steps below:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Software update
  5. Select Check Now to manually check for updates

After that, try the fast forward feature again and see if the issue is resolved. Please keep us posted!

Was so excited to get your message. Did what you said and my software is supposedly up-to-date. Tried it on 2 different recordings and it is still zipping along fast as ever. Also twice yesterday when I pushed fast forward it went to very end of show. Tell them to keep trying. Remember it worked nicely until December.

We understand it's still persisting. To help us investigate further, could you share the latest software build/version of the Roku device, and when was the last time this issue occurred? (Press Home five times, then press Back button five times)

Software version 14.5.4

Build 5944-CG

GC Version 13.11.11

Tried it around noon (Pacific) and still broken.
