ESPN streaming in stereo on Roku 2

I have a Roku 2 and was streaming the national championship last night and the sound was in stereo.  Is this due to the Roku2, a set up problem or was the content only in Stereo?

I have a new Yamaha RX A2080 receiver and new samsung tv.  I checked all the setting and couldn't find an issue.  I think the other programs I stream using Roku are also in stereo.

Thanks for the post.

Can you please clarify the issue you are experiencing? What specific Roku 2 model are you using? If other channels on your Roku device are streaming in Stereo, are you trying to change the sound settings?
