The ESPN channel app just stopped working on my streaming stick, but still works on my other TV with Roku 3 player. It was working the day before, but now when I click on the ESPN channel it just bounces back to Home each time. I checked the channel for updates and it says it is up to date. All other channels work. I also tried uninstalling the channel and reinstalling it--still does not work. Any solutions? I can watch ESPN content on my other TV!
After removing a channel, best practice is to restart your Roku to clear its memory before reinstalling the channel. Did you do this?
Restart via Settings > System > System restart (for Roku TVs: Settings > System > Power > System restart)
Thanks for the post.
In addition to what @makaiguy mentioned, how are you powering your Roku streaming stick? Is the device plugged into the TV USB port or is it plugged into a wall outlet?
With more information we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
Streaming stick is plugged into a USB port. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Didn't work.

The reason he asked was ...
The ports on many televisions only supply 0.5 amp, which is not enough to power a Roku reliably.
It is recommended that you power your Roku device via the power adapter that came with it, plugged into your house power. If you no longer have the USB power adapter that came with your device, you may have another one handy from another device that can be used -- just make sure the tiny print on it confirms it has a 5 volt dc output of at least 1 amp.
I was able to access the channel app by unplugging the cord from the wall outlet (it was on a power adapter) and replugging back in. Strange that the only channel that was affected was the ESPN app
