Use ESPN ROKU app, it works.

Same issue as everyone else. Came looking for a solution - Roku ESPN app works just fine but same issue with both a Roku 4300X & a Sharp TV with Roku. Any ESPN Plus live content just crashes the app. For now using airplay from an iPad but it’s a pain and definitely inconvenient. Has always worked just fine until the last week.

As mybflo stated just use the ESPN app.  If you have subscribed to ESPN Plus using bundle it works fine.  I didn't realize this was happening until I looked at the comments.  Faster to get to the games on ESPN app anyhow.

I have this same issue since last few days and Roku can’t fix it! There is a limit of how many days it takes to fix problem.

FINALLY.....Went on Roku to Hulu and guess what? ESPN Plus was working...HALLELUJAH.......

As of last evening, ESPN Plus now loads from the HULU screen. Nice.

A few questions here to better understand what you're experiencing: 

• Does the issue only occur on a specific channel or all channels on your Roku device?
• Does this happen on all movies/shows in ESPN Plus or just specific content?
• Any error message when attempting to stream the ESPN Plus/content?
