When clicking on a live sporting event with ESPN Plus Hulu will crash out to the Roku home screen. This worked fine for months and has just started. I’ve cleared the cache and followed all the suggested reset procedures besides doing a full Factory reset. Note: it’s only the Roku that this problem happens.

Having the same issue on both TCL Roku tv’s. Works fine on my sons Xbox, but have resorted to streaming from an iPad now which is ridiculous to be paying a subscription fee for the Hulu Disney ESPN bundle and get kicked back to Home Screen.

I am having the same problem trying to watch ESPN+ thru the Roku.. I can watch ESPN+ on HULU on my Phone, Ipad even the Large screen in the front room. None of these go thru the Roku. Any HELP would be appreciated.

P.S. For the life of me I cannot find how or where to clear the cache. A little help Please.....

I am glad I am not the only one. Noticed this a couple nights ago. Roku, care to explain?

Just chatted with Hulu support. Hulu’s issue.  They are working with Roku to resolve.

I'm having the same problem on both my Roku Stick and the Roku Streambar. Pretty sure it just started happening the past couple of days. No problem getting the ESPN+ live streams on my iPad, or the desktop. C'mon Roku, what's going on?

I'm also running into the same problem. No matter what Roku player I try this on, it crashes right back to the home screen. Only on LIVE.

Note, this is for Hockey games, not sure if that matters. Haven't tried other channels. When I login to Hulu on my phone and computer, I am able to watch the ESPN+ live games without issue.

I removed the app. Tried factory reset..log out my account then log back in and crashes the app every time hit ESPN live hockey it crashes the app the roku home screen every time... no luck

Took the time to chat w/Hulu. Same response. They acknowledged that the problem is on their end. No indications on when it might get fixed.
