Since that's a Hulu series, I assume you're watching Hulu?
Is Autoplay on? If so, and you don't have shows in your My Stuff section, or if you do but are caught up, maybe Hulu is pushing their content by playing it when an episode of something else ends?
Turn off Autoplay and see what happens. Worst case scenario, you'll have to pick up your remote every 25-50 minutes and press Play.
