My apps such as Disney +, Vudu, HBO max no longer work due to the new OS 10.5 on Roku update. I have done a factory reset and everything else.
Roku needs to fix ASAP, this is ridiculous!!
Agreed! Very frustrating... This is the first time such a terrible quality control issue has happened, but it's it a sign?

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.
Does this clear up the issue you are seeing?
If you are unable to resolve the issue, can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing
With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.

I'm in the same boat. Been going on for a month or more now. I contacted tech support through Vudu URL but no reply yet. Used to work flawlessly on all my Roku devices. To be specific, I cannot access Vudu movies as it gives me a 'network error and try again later' (I have $7,000 invested in Vudu movies and TV shows). Disney+ won't even load. It happens on 4 different Roku's, both Wired and Wifi ( Roku 3 (wired) , 4K Streaming Stick, TCL Roku TV (WiFi), Hisense Roku TV (Wifi) ). The only Roku it does work on is my Roku Ultra purchased 30 days ago. No issues with these Apps on other non-Roku streaming sticks/devices/TV embedded Apps. I removed and reloaded the channel App, cut power completely, rebooted Wifi, etc. Nothing resolves the problem. Roku, please help!!!

Was wondering if anyone is still have issues with playback of shows even after the latest 10.5 update?
I have tried everything and have to jump through hoops to get a show to play. This doesn't happen on every app. Just a couple. I have contacted the apps support and they tell me its a Roku issue and that I need to update. Which I did. Still having issues.
My box is 3 years old and I'm wondering if age is starting to be an issue.

I have this problem on Vudu and Disney+, both old and new Roku devices. HBOMax is also hit or miss to pull-in at times. I installed a new Roku Express 2 weeks ago and same problem as my other 6 Roku devices and Roku TVs. It’s good Danny from Roku responded that Roku is aware and working. Given the holiday deals, I’ve opted to purchase and install other streaming devices to resolve these problems. I have too much invested at various streaming sites and an impatient family to wait. I don’t see the problem on these new (non-Roku) devices
I have a lot of money invested in 3 boxes and only stream for tv entertainment. I just can't go out and buy all new boxes.
I hope this gets fixed soon because it is getting very annoying. Strange thing is it only does it on Philo and Paramount+. All the other apps work fine.
It is now February 13, 2022 and this issue has yet to be resolved. My Vudu and Disney+ channels are not allowing me to view anything. Always saying it's a connection issue. Netflix works fine. Reset the Roku, removed the channel, and still the same thing happens.
