Anyone else having an issue logging into apps connected with Discovery (such as Travel Channel Go & TLC Go) through their cable provider recently?
I'm logging in as usual, and logging in through my cable provider with the username & password. When it says successfully logged in, the screen still shows many episodes as locked.
I click on it, and get a message saying something like the channel isn't part of your cable package, even though I'm 100% sure it is. So far it's happening with Travel Channel Go & TLC Go which I watch the most. I have to exit the apps & then open again a few times to get the episodes unlocked.
The login systems are handled by a combination of the channels themselves and the tv provider you are using to authenticate the account.
One thing I've found sometimes works with login recognition problems is to go into the channel app and actually log out of your account. When you've done that, log back in again with your tv provider credentials. If you're lucky this might reset things at their end.
