Suddenly Xfinity and Disney plus are missing. Tried to redownload and “channel cannot be added”. Tried restart, unplugging, updating. What else can be done?

Can you please provide more information about the issue you are experiencing? What specific Roku device model are you using? If you are using an older device, it's possible that the channels no longer your device model.

It is a Roku 2 model 4210x. Previously we had Xfinity and Disney plus on roku. A few days ago those 2 apps disappeared and when I try to download them again I get an error message with “channel cannot be added”. I am able to add other apps/channels, just not those two.
Having the same problem as kkq0317 of not being able to add a specific channel to my Roku 2 model 4210 X1. In my case it is The Roku Channel which disappeared overnight. Other channels can be added.

If after attempting the suggestion above, you are still unable to add the channel, you can try installing it from our website by clicking this link. Once done, run a software update on your Roku device for the channel to show up on your home screen. To do this, go to Settings > System > System update > Check now.

Thanks for your help! Tried the fixes you suggest but still cannot see The Roku Channel on my Home Page. The Roku Channel is listed as "Installed" in my account, so why is it not visible?
