Channels & viewing

We recently got a Roku and I have enjoyed watching episodes of shows that used to be on TLC: Dr. G Medical Examiner and Untold Stories of the ER. However, I only seem to be able to watch the episode in progress and not always able to "start at the beginning." The last 4 times I have tried to watch Dr. G, the same episode is playing and I have not found a way to choose another episode. Whenever I go to Untold Stories, I cannot start at the beginning but must start in the middle. To get to the shows, I go to search and, as soon as the search box comes up, I see the 2 shows. How do I select and episode and start at the beginning.

I don't think you've mentioned any specific app, but I think you are watching some sort of "live app". 

On other apps, there is nothing "live" and you just choose whatever you want to watch each time.

I appreciate you for sharing with us your concern regarding the interface while watching Live TV.

As advised by @Strega2 in this thread, it is important for us to identify on what app or channel you are accessing the content.

May I know on what app/channel are you streaming the content?

With more details, I can proceed to necessary steps in assisting you further.
