I was having trouble with the channel a few days ago and emailed them. I received a reply stating that the owner of the channel had a medical issue and they were trying to keep things running….guess not, really did enjoy it.

This is awful. Chiller was easily my most watched channel. A lot of those old movies are impossible to find anywhere else.

No idea.  Someone upthread said they emailed them, I can't even find an email address for them online.  It could have been a rights issue, I can assure you they didn't have the rights to any of the Toho movies on the channel.  No matter what its a huge loss, it was an incredible collection of movies.

This was their email address, chillerthrillertv@gmail.com. I emailed them last month asking if they were adding anymore movies and never heard back. Just canceled my subscription today. I’m super bummed. Honestly I would have paid a good amount for that channel…especially if they kept adding new movies monthly.

I emailed the channel and got the following reply:

"Unfortunately Andres the owner of the channel suffered a heart attach and stroke in late June and nobody has been maintaining it. I'm a friend and business partner just trying to salvage the channel. I will keep you posted. "

I replied with condolences and let him know that the channel was very popular and lots of folks are hoping it makes a return.

It was not a legal service. Common sense kinda told me that. I contacted them and some guy answered saying the main guy had a major heart attack so that could be part of it.

My #1 go to channel.  this sucks  It had everything from the 50's and more!  All the Universals and all the other  monster classics!  What happened?  Will it be coming back on?  I noticed I wasn't being charged the $ 1>99 each month!  I sure it comes back or someone buys it up!  Too many great movies on this channel.

What I don't understand is why Roku couldn't notify their subscriber base that two channels that were once available are being eliminated. They host the channel so I would think that they would be responsible for letting their subscribers know.
