The rating star of Channels hasn't been changed for years — it stays as a fixed number instead of being kept up to date.

I agree, it doesn't make sense, a real time updated rating is the right one!
Here’s some ways to fix or to try to pinpoint it: 1. Restart your device. 2.Reboot router and/or modem or if you have a Roku Ultra plugged into Ethernet, Unplug the Ethernet cable and replug it in. If all fails, Ask support for help or wait for a patch update. I am able to change my rating just so you know.
Sound like an issue with your router/modem. (Have you tried restarting it by unplugging and plugging back in?)
