When we watch a show on Demand (using the Spectrum App) we are unable to clear the show from our library. This is ONLY when watching on demand ......recorded programs are no problem. We have talked to Spectrum several times and done everything they have asked...uninstalled and reinstalled the Spectrum App...cleared cache,restarted, updated an unplugged are Roku device several times . Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any ideas on how to remedy the situation? We be appreciated.

Then it's a programming issue with the Spectrum channel itself. Unfortunately, Spectrum is the only one that can help there. They provide and support the channel. There's nothing that Roku can do, as it's not their programming.
What I'm not seeing in what you wrote is the following:
I see all the pieces of that, but not in that order. That makes a difference. Try those steps, in that order, one after the other.
