writing from CANADA: (and NO VPN in use)
Just bought a ROKU PREMIERE - it has a dedicated CRAVE button on the remote - and has pictures of CRAVE and CBC on the packaging box - however neither channel is available. Why would ROKU do this?
CRAVE and CBC are not available even though advertised and do not appear on this website either.
There is a "CBC live news" channel on ROKU TV but the news they stream is days old, and so, completely useless. Does anyone know why CRAVE and CBC are advertised but not included? Thanks.
Those dedicated buttons are sold as advertisements so for Crave to buy one, I would assume they must have plans to be on Roku.
Hmm… and there is this…

So, I went to the channel store, set my location to Canada, and I did find Crave. Does this work for you?

And CBC

If you can't see those, there may be some confusion about your location.
Hi, thank you. I reset the stupid ROKU. I reset the modem. I reset the 2 tvs, Nothing. I can't get CBC or CRAVE. Thank you for the links - but they are not highlighted so I can see them but not choose them. I also cannot chose HBO as it says "not available in my region". so it appears I am not eligible in Canada - and not in the US either. I cannot find where to put in my location, but I am in BC. I guess ROKU is getting returned as there is no way to contact them and get them to fix this. I have spent at least 5 hours on this. So frustrating. and now wasting time returning it too. Thank you so much for your advice though.
