I have tried everything. YouTube or YouTube TV just freezes showing 0% loading. When I do a check Update the Roku device just crashes and reboots.
Thanks for the post.
Can you please provide more specific information about the issue you are experiencing? What Roku model device are you using? How are you powering the Roku device? Are you trying to check for a software update when the Roku device crashes?
With more detailed information we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
It's broke. They haven't fixed it yet. A new os is suppose to roll out soon.
I'll probably get another warning in my inbox for saying it.
Express model roku?
I don't know what equipment you have but if you have a laptop running windows 8..Hit the windows key and c. You'll get a list on the right. If you click devices and then project you can cast to roku . I'm not sure if windows 10 is the same.
Its pointless what I said but trying to help.
It works for me in a pinch.
God bless man.
I'll try win 10 tomorrow if i don't forget.
It is a Roku Premiere+ that has its own power supply. Lately every morning I turn on the power to the device and it boots up. I then click on the Youtube TV icon and it shows 0% loading and freezes not allowing me to do anything else. I then pull the power jack from the device and wait a little bit then plug it back in to power it up again. The last couple of days this has been enough to get the Youtube TV to work. It does not even show its loading. I have checked for updates on the Roku device and updates for the Youtube TV icon to no avail.
I don't know for sure. But I think its a memory issue and bad coding. roku passes the buck and says that the content provider is responsible for the app.
Yea I guess they are but that answer does not make customers happy.
I replied about the power because I was asked about it. As far as memory goes I added a memory card to it many months ago and everything has been working fine until just recently.
Today Youtube TV did not freeze at 0% loading so I hope it continues to work.
Did you get an os update or something. Mine doesn't work.
No I did not. But today I was back to Youtube TV freezing at 0% loading. I had to pull the plug, wait and then restart and did a check update for Roku which updated a few programs but not Youtube TV. Then I was able to click on Youtube TV and it worked like it should. It is frustrating to not know what is causing this and not have it resolved.
