Can not install peacock tv onto my Roku device

I can install peacock tv on my phone through my email but can not install it on my device connected to my t.v. In my account it says it is installed but does not show up on my t.v.

Re: Can not install peacock tv onto my Roku device

What's the model number of your Roku shown under Settings->System->About?

Re: Can not install peacock tv onto my Roku device

I have the same problem. I can't even find Peacock on my Roku to install it. I've searched through all the categories. Before this happened I had to reformat the roku because it wouldn't connect to the internet. After doing that it connects to the wifi but I can't install the channels I want.

Re: Can not install peacock tv onto my Roku device

@DLC4

The Roku model number, as @renojim requested from OP, is helpful. Settings > System > About

Peacock doesn't support all Roku models. https://www.peacocktv.com/help/article/what-devices-and-platforms-are-supported-by-peacock

Oh, a factory reset is usually a last resort for fixing issues. If there's a network issue, you can do a network reset without doing a factory reset of the Roku device, and accomplish the same thing.

Re: Can not install peacock tv onto my Roku device

@renojim It's a Roku Express Model 3930X. My sister gave it to me and she had Peacock already installed on it but when I reformatted it it was erased. So I'm pretty sure it supports peacock.

@DLC4, are you located in a different country than your sister?

Re: Can not install peacock tv onto my Roku device

@renojim No I'm currently living in the USA but I was living in the Dominican Republic a few months ago. Is there a setting that I can change to the US?

Re: Can not install peacock tv onto my Roku device

@DLC4, did you create your Roku account while you were outside the US?  If so, you'll probably have to start over with creating a new Roku account (or maybe closing your existing account if you want to use the same email address for your new account) and factory resetting your Roku to link it to the new account.

@renojim Thanks. That was the problem. I had to create a new account. It works now.
