Can I log into my own email and password for apps I already have

Jump to solution

If I buy Roku can I log into my own email and password for apps I already have? This is for an older smart tv that no longer has apps that I use most.

If the apps you currently have are supported by Roku devices the answer is yes.  You can log into your current apps on a Roku or any other streaming device that supports your current app(s) using your current login credentials.

Very likely yes, as long as Roku has a matching app.  You can look at Roku channel store before you buy to check.

A very few media companies "device lock" their service or have limits on devices per account, if so you may need to contact them to sort it out.

Anything linked to a cable company may be unavailable (to new Roku customers) or otherwise not be simple in the name of revenue protection.
