Cable TV controlls

Good evening,

I recently purchased a roku tv, I've managed to get all my streaming services working without issue.

But when i try to watch TV through my cable box I've been unable to change the channel.

I'm sure its something simple I'm missing, but no buttons let me change channels, I've been stuck on the first one that came up!

 

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it!

Are you pressing those buttons on the cable box remote?
