Hi Guys. I'm in the UK, have a Britbox subscription and recently have been watching the channel on my Rokus without issue.
Yesterday, my wife's Roku (same subscription) appeared to have lost our log-in and asked her to re-enter it, which she did. It was accepted, but the app closed shortly afterwards.
Now, whichever Roku device (same account) we use to try and run the app, it will close within a second or so of reaching the app top menu bar (nothing else is shown underneath). No further log-ons are being requested. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on both Rokus without success. All other channel apps work without issue.
I should add that we can still log-on to Britbox via a browser or mobile app without issue. This issue is solely on Roku.

I have reached out to Britbox support but they currently have not been able to come up with a solution.
Is anybody else having issues or has anyone any suggestions?

Hi @jonbeckett @Britanniarum I've had a response back from the Britbox 2nd tier tech support team. They say they have now rectified the issue with the app. I've just tried and mine are both working again. Hopefully, yours will be too. Regards.
Hi I'm having similar issue. Britbox tries to start and then closes and goes to roku homepage. Cant remove app even to reload. This started yesterday 25/10/21. I have not found a solution to this as yet.
Thanks for confirming @Britanniarum . I was beginning to think it was something we had done. Ours too started yesterday 25th. Hopefully somebody here may have some solutions or suggestions as it seems solely associated with the Roku app.
Having same issue - have removed Britbox and reloaded, restarted ROKU, restarted wireless connection, removed batteries from remote connected mobile app then replaced batteries (all suggestions to fix found elsewhere on this forum) and still will not load Britbox further than the headers on the main menu and then throws me back to the ROKU home menu
