Why cannot I add the Bell Fibe Streaming App to be able to watch my paid for bell cable/streaming services? This is a huge problem. Anyone who can assist would be greatly appreciated
@Roku Support
With the exception of its own The Roku Channel, Roku Media Player, and a few Roku support pages, channel apps are created by the channel owners, not Roku. Roku just provides the platform on which they run.
Per this Bell Fibe support page, Bell Fibe supports the following devices:
Bell Streamer
Android smartphones and tablets (OS 5.0+)
Apple smartphones and tablets (iOS 12+)
Apple TV, 4th generation or higher
AirPlay on Apple TV and AirPlay-enabled TVs
All versions of ChromecastTM
Android TV: Sony Android TV, nVIDIA Shield, Xiaomi Mi Box
Amazon Fire TV (Basic Edition or higher)
Computer: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari* browsers by visiting fibetv.ca
Note no mention of Roku. Contact Bell Fiber and let them know you want to be able to access them via Roku.
Bell fibe website claims they do not block Roku. I am caught in the middle and now considering switching to either the Firestick of the chromecast 😞
