Hi all,
I'm in the Irish Republic and retailers in this country are promoting Roku as having the same features as in the UK.
My specific interest is BBC iPlayer, which BBC tell me I cannot have outside of the UK. However, Currys, Harvey Normans and others are advertising Roku as having these features.
I'd like to know (ideally from a Roku department) which is it?
Can I have channels as advertised or not?
Many thanks
Thanks for the inquiry.
Channel availability/access on Roku devices will vary from region to region. A Roku device will work in any location, however, channels may not be available on your device in that location, based on each channel provider's discretion. For more information, you'd want to contact any specific channel/service provider to inquire further about whether they offer their channel/service on the Roku platform in your region.
Thanks,
Danny

Hi Danny,
Thanks so much for the quick reply.
I'll do as suggested and check with local networks!
Very kind wishes,
