> Still not fixed on streamed files, re-encoded or not.
@Avrution is that something that can be reproduced by others? specific streaming service or platform?
@keenBasically the same issue most people have been having in this thread. Audio cutouts when streaming over the network (mkv). "Fixed" files that have been working when played over USB still are cutting out for me when played from a network device.
Amazing! 10.5 seems to have fixed it for me. I disabled the Plex stuffer workaround in advanced settings and it seems to be playing audio fine with no dropouts. Huge shoutout to Plex for helping this problem seem non-existent while Roku jerked everyone around for a year!
Same here 10.5 works great
However, for some reason my Ultra has reverted back to 10.0.0 and the problem is back, I have done a factory reset and its saying that 10.0.0 build 4209 is the latest update. The sound problem that was fixed for a while is now back again, this is ridiculous !!
Update
Luckily I have another Ultra and I removed the network connection to stop it updating so this one is still working fine with the 10.5 update.
I hope this all gets sorted out again soon.
Same here. The update fixed the AAC issue (but had a problem with multichannel OGG files).
Now it claims it wants to "update" to an old version.
Mine just automatically "updated" to 10.0.0 I didnt even know until audio started dropping again, then I checked the system version and it had automatically reverted back to 10.0.0
