Both my BF and I have 3 separate rokus all together and all 3 do this it’s kind of ridiculous. We will be in the middle of watching a show and it will either freeze and reboot itself or it’ll freeze and then go back to the Home Screen. We’ve had our rokus probably for 9 months now. Mine is a bit older by a few months but his are newer. According to Amazon “Rokus don’t wear out” and clearly that was a lie.
At first, I thought it might just be a problem with my Roku device. But it is happening with my other Roku, as well. All other channels are working properly (although YouTube is very slow).
For what it is worth, I live in Oregon.
This is crazy. My new Roku Soundbar Pro is ejecting me from the PBS and the Prime Video apps (only after a program starts, but usually within a minute or two). It started with PBS and then a few weeks later Prime was affected. So far Netflix is not affected.
Roku has zero customer support, and it's been week and months since people have been reporting this problem, with no fix offered. In a few weeks I'm going to switch to an entirely different video system like Google's; what's the point of having Roku if it only works for single app? I'm mystified and very angry at the lack of direct Roku customer support here.
I have a Roku Tv TCL when selecting peacock I am also having this issue with channel reverting back to home screen about an hour this keeps happening.
I know your working on this , once you do have a resolution should this resolve for everyone,or is this on an individual basis the reason you need the model # issue and device which I am not able to locate at this time not really computer savy.
But I will be looking for answers here once it's posted hopefully this will resolve across the board . For now I have already done a factory reset, and uninstalled the channel and reinstall it after a restart on tv, not any of these options work for me . I have also turned off the Bandwidth saver nothing works . At this point not sure what to do other than bring my HD tv from the bedroom and put the TCL in the bedroom till this can be fixed somehow , I have never experienced this with a Roku box only the Roku smart tv , hopefully I have said something that maybe of some help .
At this point I am thinking of returning it or never purchase a smart tv like this again . I am not upset just as everyone we are all having this problem it's no fun while watching a movie and boom your looking at the home screen ,,
Can't load Hulu keeps going back to home screen other apps work fine. Works fine on mobile and computer. Hulu aware of the issue. Not sure if it's Hulu or Roku at this time. Did all the restarts, reinstalls and clear caches.
Once I updated the Roku firmware on all my devices from 10.0 to 10.5, the problem with Hulu went away

@RokuDanny-R Is that a joke response? So we’re just supposed to continue with zero working channels indefinitely? No wonder so many people in this thread are switching to Apple or Amazon for streaming. A blocking issue like this should be prioritized ASAP - what could be higher priority than the entire Roku system being unusable?
All my channels are going back to home page. Seems like one shows airs and not ended and goes back to home page. This is quite annoying. How can I fix this issue. Have three TVs and they all do it. Please fix soon.
