Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?

Since taking the batteries out of the remote that came with my ultra Lt and using an old Roku remote instead my Roku has never returned to the home screen, before it was almost unusable because it kept going back to home screen. The remote was the problem, it thought you were pressing buttons when you were not even holding it

Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?

Oh man, I'm glad this topic is here. This has been happening to me for months and it's been extremely frustrating. Support failed me in the past about this. I hope there's a fix. Anyway, here's the info you've requested. Thanks, @RokuDanny-R.

It happens consistently on the channels I regularly watch... YouTube TV, Netflix, MLB.tv... even when I was on the "Issue report tracker" screen.

Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?

Is anyone at Roku even working on this?  I've been complaining about this for months and have tried everything that has been asked of me.  Has Roku even figured out the cause of this?

@Grandmaslucky7

Since you already tried reinstalling Hulu, try the previously posted list of 7 workarounds/solutions for apps not loading/closing to Home.

Otherwise, you'll need to contact Hulu about problems with the 6.48.1 update.

I wouldn’t factory reset if I were you. I know you said you wouldn’t but if you rlly wanted to don’t. It doesn’t fix is for me or anybody I know

Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?

If this is a continuing issue with Roku and multiple channels.  Why hasn't Roku remedied the ongoing issues?  I too, keep getting kicked out of Hulu and sent back to the Roku Home Page.  I've spoken to two Hulu representatives and they too are stumped by this issue.  So Roku...fix the ongoing problem.

As many of, this makes me mad.  I didn't pay for this to have it go into a shotty purchase only 3 months ago.  So tell us what is the remedy to this on-going problem within Roku?
