I removed the batteries from my remote, downloaded the Roku remote from Google Play store and tried to continue to watch Monsters at Work on Disney+. It again kicked me back to home screen.

I recently upgraded my HBO subscription and ever since then it will not play anything. It will think about it and then bring me back to the main HBO max page. I have contacted HBO max, have been given the run around, and never get a response to my "escalated" case.
I don't have a delete channel option.
At this point I just want my money back for the subscription, but would also like it work.
All Channels are causing us to be placed back to Home Screen.

I encourage everyone to drop an email to any TV/tech columns you read. Tell them what people are experiencing and about Roku's apparent refusal to acknowledge the problem, much less offer a solution.
I've been lucky to have only one channel, TNT, kick back to the home screen. However, since Prime will not operate with the current device I use after Nov. 1, I've bought a new one. I'm super-averse to installing it, because I'm afraid it will broaden my comparatively minor problem from one channel to many. This is like a textbook example of the way technology's advances can turn out to be just the (unacknowledged). opposite. Predatory capitalism is ruining teevee!
