I have found that unplugging your tv and then plugging it back in works. It worked for me. Turning your tv off the remote way doesn’t work but unplugging does.
Model 3600x. Serial number 5s464s204131. Software 10.5.0 build 4156-24. Keeps turning to home screen from YouTube TV, Amazon prime video and Netflix. Tried restarting and removing and re adding channels
Just bought the roku ultra lt an it keeps going back to menu on almost all channels should I return it to amazon
Thanks for the feedback . I tried it in the morning and it worked fine finally 😅
Yesterday I had an issue with mine and am not sure if it was an old model but this morning it worked fine. I suggest including the serial number and all info needed for the machine and have one of the Roku staff check it for you
Mine was not working yesterday but this morning it worked fine. Include your roku device info and have one of roku staff check it out.
Good luck hope it works 🤞 it seems YouTube Google and Roku need to fix the updates problem and need to ensure all updates are pushed to ALL models
I recently purchased and installed 2 Roku Ultra LT devices w/voice remote. I am experiencing the "jump to home" issue on all channels. I am using my Roku to activate my Sony Bravia and often find it has powered up without cause (assume "jump to home"). Both units are on current software and have been reset via power disconnect multiple times.
Model # 4663X
Serial #s YJ00DD142963 and YJ00FR978287
PLEASE NOTE: I have run through several scenarios where this problem occurs and find the following
1) While I could detect no fixed periodicity, the malfunction seems to occur within 3 minutes of beginning a program.
2) When the "jump to home" occurs, the LED indicator on the front of Roku unit flickers as it does when the unit is being controlled via remote.
3) If the voice remote (i.e., RF control) is disabled by removing the batteries, both my units respond to and function normally when controlled with older (i.e., IR only) remotes I have on hand. The problem appears isolated to RF control.
3) If a program is started using the RF control and the batteries are immediately removed from remote, no malfunction has occurred in many, many operations. REPEAT: If the batteries are out of the RF remote, no "jump to home" occurs on either of my units regardless of which remote was used to launch the program.
BOTTOM LINE: It seems this "jump to home" malfunction I am experiencing may be caused by spurious emissions/operations between the RF control and Roku device.
