Sept 7...Again, I watched  several selected channels with no problem. Did ROKU fix the problem?  I don't know as they are mute on the subject.  All those high $$$ tech's and nobody knows anything.

The Roku I have is ultra LT model: 4662x ID: TC2-R1016 SN: YJ007N153368 (0469D7153368) Software verison: 10.0.0 · build 4209-46 ISSUE ID 68-363-804 and its all my apps I have done everything. The two apps that are the worst is Netflix and HBO Max I can watch for a minute then it reverts backs to the homescreen. Everything is up to date

I'm happy to report that as of yesterday, 9/9, my "Watch TCM" channel was back in working order.  I have no idea how the revert to home screen problem was fixed, whether via TCM or Roku, or more likely the two of them working together, but it's fixed.  Hooray!  I have a 3 year old Roku Express, and it works perfectly on all other streaming channels, and has never had a glitch except for Watch TCM.  Very sorry about your ongoing problems with other streaming channels (Netflix and HBO Max), but hope they are soon resolved.  Just know that these are not user problems: they are provider problems, beyond our control to fix.  Good luck!  DaveyJ.

Davey....Don't hold your breath.  My similar problem has also (seemingly) been fixed.  But I expect the problem to return again.  I just don't have faith in ROKU anymore.

@daveyj:  Thank you! I understand not wanting to wreck their business by announcing its serious problems, but this has been going on at least three months now. Roku's lack of a response reiterates the same attitude that created the problem to begin with. At the same time, it's true a lot of the channel/apps themselves have problems unrelated to Roku. HBO Max, for example, was a total mess when I subscribed and quickly unsubscribed to it. Supposedly, they are rebuilding the entire app.

Bachelard is right!  This is either my third or fourth round with losing access to Watch TCM in the last 6 months (approx.). Have spent way too much time trying to make a fix from my end.  Very little communication from Roku techies, with Danny being the main exception, though I haven't seen any postings from him in this last round of troubles.  As another person wrote here, "Don't hold your breath," re: this being the last round.  It's most likely to be a recurring problem.  One suggestion for Roku itself and all the streaming channels that come through it:  post blast emails when a problem arises so that users have more information re: the nature of the problem, and the anticipated fix.  Getting good information is the user's friend, and it also makes good business and practical sense from the provider's POV.  And let's not forget how new and all together miraculous streaming is as a technology.  Remember when the only way to get movies from Netflix was via the USPS, one DVD at a time?   DaveyJ
