Tried the list of fixes. Network reset worked for me. Good luck.
@daveyj wrote:So many people are experiencing problems with Roku streaming, as is plain to see from all the complaints on this chat group. Seems very unfair that Roku should have such poor customer service when compared to other media problems. Ditto for TCM and Watch TCM. Users are stuck in a self-help or community support effort, offering suggestions to one another, but with little expertise to guide us. Really not fair. Are you listening/reading, Roku, TCM and similar platforms for which we pay? DaveyJ
While pinging Roku for its customer service along with low quality RokuOS firmware upgrades that cause app loading/crashing problems is entirely fair, its "Really not fair" to hold Roku accountable for TCM's poor app programming/upgrade quality.
Last I checked, the "self help community effort" led to TCM acknowledging the specific problem and promising a specific fix.

Thanks for posting back the workaround/solution that worked for you so that others may see it.
Yes, I noticed that when I removed the remote control batteries, it never booted me back to Home. Once I saw this recommendation, I kept the batteries out and used the remote app. It has been three weeks and I have had no problem. So... the issue is with the remote controls???

Its entirely possible some/many of the "crashes to Home" when loading/after loading problems are related to dysfunctional remotes, so its good that you/others post back here a workaround/solution that worked for you (and hopefully for Roku personnel to see/forward to Roku engineers etc).
Yes. I started another message. But it is a 40” TCL (Roku) TV. Watch TCM not loading and goes back to the home screen
Same problem here. Specifically PLUTO, PEACOCK and TUBI channels. However, it is intermittent and sometimes works ok, other days....not. I deleted each channel and re-enstalled each with better results.
My TCL Rolu TV model# 55S401
Device ID is CN67AD465T68
Serial # YNOOD4465168
Issue ID is 68-356-68
Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Disney and ESPNplus are effected.
How do I resolve this?

My brand new TCL Roku TV is doing this as well. Prime Video and Netflix are affected, as well as the PBS app. Have not checked others. Very frustrating, especially since the TV is doing this not even a month after purchase.
I have two Roku TVs.... a 55" (3 ys old) and a 24" (10 mo old). I never had any trouble with the 55 until afew months ago when BOTH TV's started acting up and returning HOME within afew minutes of selecting a channel. I use PLUTO and TUBI alot. they are always affected, but not all the other channels. Sometimes everything works fine. I really think the problem is in the UPDATES we get from ROKU. Somehow, they have messed up the software updates and this is causing the conflict. ROKU will not admit to any wrongdoing. That's my opinion.
