Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?

When I pull up Tucker I get kicked back and forth and cannot access any shows. Funny thing is I can pull up all other shows I pay for on FOX. Is Tucker being censored??Smiley Sad

There is no "Tucker app" .

You didnt mention which of the many apps that does carry FoxNews live and other content, that you are using and "get kicked back and forth" with/in.

You also didnt mention your Roku model # and firmware version  Settings/System/About

Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?

Hi Danny,  Lost "Watch TCM" via Roku on 9/1/2021.  Tried reset instructions, no go.  Just tried adding Roku app to my iPhone and launching Watch TCM from there (after removing batteries from reg. remote).  Still no go.  Always returns to Home Screen.  Also tried the old secret menu trick, where I reinstalled the Roku update (it was already showing as the most recent), still no go.  Anything else I should try?  Davey

Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?

I am having the problem on Sharp Roku TV, affecting YouTube and YTTV. My other Roku device (streaming stick) is fine. Just started within the last few days.

Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?

I am being returned to the Home screen while trying to watch TCM.  I have tried removing and adding the channel, unplugging my TCL Roku TV, removing the batteries from the remote and using the Roku remote on my phone.  Nothing works.  This is the only channel I am having problems with.

Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?

I'm having the same problem with the Hulu App. After selecting Hulu, screen reverts back to Home screen. Also, the Roku Channel was automatically removed and is no longer available for me to add. This has been happening for over a week now. I tried every solution posted on this forum and on Hulu's forum. Everything is fine with my other Roku in my MBR. Very frustrated and almost ready to give up on Roku all together!

Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?

So many people are experiencing problems with Roku streaming, as is plain to see from all the complaints on this chat group.  Seems very unfair that Roku should have such poor customer service when compared to other media problems.  Ditto for TCM and Watch TCM. Users are stuck in a self-help or community support effort, offering suggestions to one another, but with little expertise to guide us.  Really not fair.  Are you listening/reading, Roku, TCM and similar platforms for which we pay?  DaveyJ
