So now I put the app on my phone and have to pay so I don't have stupid advertisements!!! fix the TV!! This is bull**t. I thought I Roku TV with a remote and it should work with the TV no matter what apps are put on it
We are aware that some users may be experiencing some channels reverting back to the Home screen after entering channels.
Please be aware that we are still investigating the root cause for why this happened.
We would first recommend trying removing the channels from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channels back once more.
If you're still running into an issue, and this issue is happening with multiple/all channels, please respond to this thread with the following information:

What channels and what version/build are the channels

Issue ID (To generate an Issue ID, on your remote, press Home 5x then Back 5x (next to Home) in quick succession, and you'll see an Issue ID pop up on your screen. Let us know what that Issue ID is here).
However, if you are experiencing this issue on a single channel, please feel free to search for another thread related to your issue, or feel free to create another thread regarding your issue.
Once we have this information we will be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to look further into.
Re: Are you being returned to Home screen after selecting a channel?
I deleted both prime video and netflix, shut down and reatarted my system and reinstalled and both return my to the homescreen. This is going on three days this is happening. Hope I get a refund or a delay in my next charge.
