Did you already try unplug the power cord and waiting 10 seconds before plugging in again?
Where do I get the serial/model number info?
Where do I get the serial # and model info?
Good question. Idk. I threw my box out long ago.
I’m having this issue with Apple TV. And there’s a few more but I give up on trying to figure it out and now have forgotten what they were. Single mom to a 9 month old and almost 4 year old both girls. Haha. But would love to get it figured it out.
Model- 3900X - Roku Express
Serial- YG007N659651
Device ID- C337A7659651
Apple TV- version 6.1 build 196
Issue ID: 51-250-900
Thank you!!
What about when you are watching a playback show, on ANY app and all of a sudden the tv says.....sorry we are having trouble, please come back later......when u are 1/2 way thru the **bleep** show and it worked FINE!!!! We have 3 ROKU tv's and...every.....single....one does it! I am about ready to smash them all!!!! And we used to love them (hense why we have 3!!!) but since the new update....THEY SUCK!!!!!!!

Menu path, starting on the Roku home screen:
Settings > System > About
I recently had to update my roku player software and for some reason I’ve come to use it today and it won’t play ANYTHING on ANY channel! It begins but then suddenly jumps straight back to the home screen, I’ve never had this issue before and not had no messages pop up onscreen.
You didnt mention your model # or firmware version (Settings/System/About)
Try:
1) Check for updates again (Settings/System/System updates/Check now) - try again
2) Restart the Roku (Settings/System/System restart/Restart) - try again
