Same thing is happening to us. We have tried removing and re-installing nothing works. We don't press the Home Button . Still only plays about one minute of the move and goes back to the home screen. We have only had this TV for about 6 months it just started doing this two days ago. Help
I have a Roku Streambar that I just installed and it does that also. It tries to launch and then immediately goes to the home screen. It happened on the Roku Channel, Discovery+ and Hulu live so far. I have an LG that I wanted to use on this it is 2013 model. I have used a Roku Express on it before with no problems. The rest of my TVs are TCL Roku TVs.
Having the same issue. I tried removing the apps and rebooting.

The issue started with Netflix a few weeks ago. As of today, Prime is now impacted.

I'm having this problem with YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu. I am able to get YouTube back after doing an update, but lose it again a day or two later. The update doesn't work to regain access to Netflix and Hulu.

Yes, being returned to Home Screen. While in AT&T app press down to see the “channel search or library” immediately kicks me to Home Screen. Uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, etc. still same issue. Only way to change channel is right arrow. Can’t access library, or other features. Hardwire connection, Fiber 1G

Yep, using AT&T streaming services and tried everything accept reinstalling app since most responses on this thread suggest that doesn’t work. Resetting to factory is unacceptable to me as a “fix”.

HOPE this issue is addressed soon …
I am using a Roku Ultra LT. Before posting this I’ve read everything on this forum and Reddit. I’ve done maybe three factory resets on every device involved. Including my modem.
My TV is a Sony Bravia, CEC is already disabled because the roku would turn it on again by itself. It’s wired but the problems would happen in wifi as well.
No matter the app that I want to watch I open it and after a few minutes it just closes and goes back to home. It’s honestly infuriating.
ive tried several HDMI cables and pluggin it on several outlets and power strips. Any ideas so I can fix this? I really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it but as of now this is the worst experience I’ve had with a player, it just doesn’t work for anything.
Only thing I can think of to suggest is to try a different USB power adapter. Most of us have a bunch of them lying around from old cell phones, etc. Just be sure the power output listed in the tiny print on it indicates it will provide at least 1 amp of current.
I'm unable to use Youtube, Netflix and Prime. After clicking the icons, it's showing loading then returns to the home screen.
