When I attempted to watch a program on the Apple TV app after the 10.5 update, I could hear the soundtrack but not the dialog. I manually changed the audio setting from AUTO to STEREO and I can now hear the dialog. There must be some sort of conflict between the 10.5 update and the Apple TV app.
