App too large for screen

The TBS app on my Roku opens up and everything is too big. I can usually still navigate the app and the shows air normally, but the TBS app signed me out and now, when I try to get the activation code, the code is too big for the screen and I can’t see the entire thing. How can I either make this app normal (I’ve already uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled) or how can I activate the TBS app on my Roku without getting the activation code off of the Roku. TIA

Have you tried the various zoom or picture size options for your TV?

Re: App too large for screen

Try manually configuring your display:  Settings/Display=1080p TV or 720p TV (try both) and then opening the TBS app.

Re: App too large for screen

I actually did that and tried both. It seems that I have to keep it on Auto because my TV only goes up to like 420p or something like that, so that didn’t do anything. Thanks, tho.

Go into the app settings and adjust the screen size.

What Roku model # and firmware version do you have?  Settings/System/About

..and how is it connected to the TV? (HDMI, Composite)

What is your TV brand/model #?

If you are using a model with Composite output to your TV, try connecting via HDMI instead to a different TV to register the TBS app, then switch it back.

(I verified this behavior on a 3910 using Composite output - does not happen with HDMI output)

Otherwise, contact TBS and Roku:

@RokuDanny-R  Please pass this on to TBS/app engineering
